This is a great opportunity to work along side designers, directors and the creative team to get hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-paced entertainment organization. Interns will receive a small stipend and a monthly metrocard each month of the internship.
The Studio intern will observe and assist the studio staff in the efficient operation of the studio including:
· Setting up and breaking down sessions
· Serving as runner
· Assisting the studio technician with editing and post-production tasks
· Other duties as assigned
The intern will also have the opportunity to work as assistant engineer at our recording facility, and on occasional offsite projects. Candidates must have a basic familiarity with recording studio terminology and practices. Knowledge of OSX, Pro Tools strongly preferred.
To be considered, candidates must be reliable, highly organized and detail-oriented, with a flexible work style, able to work both in teams and independently. Proficiency with MS Office required.
