Full-Time Executive Assistant

Blue Man Productions, the parent company of the theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for a top-notch Executive Assistant to work closely with the Producing department and other members of the executive staff.  The ideal candidate will be exceptionally proactive, with the ability to anticipate departmental needs while juggling multiple schedules and competing priorities, and experience in both theatrical and office environments.  In additional to supporting the Producing team on projects, this role will serve as the primary administrative support for the Executive Producer, and provide additional support to other senior leaders in the organization.


Responsibilities include:

Extensive budget tracking and expense reconciliation
Project research and current project tracking
Coordinating internal and external meetings and taking minutes
Booking domestic and international travel
Drafting correspondence and assembling highly confidential information
Maintaining departmental files


With projects in development and more opportunities on the horizon, we are looking for someone with above-average organization and research skills.  In addition to the above responsibilities, the Executive Assistant works on special projects and interacts heavily with both internal and external partners.  Candidates should be well-organized, detail-oriented, creative self-starters who are able to multi-task within a busy work environment.  Knowledge of PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat preferred; proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel required.  A sense of fun, fantastic people skills, and a desire to pursue a career in theater are a must!  Applicants should have 2+ years supporting a senior-level executive.
