Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
- How long is the show?
The show is one hour and forty-five minutes long with no intermission.
- What happens if we are running late?
Late patrons are seated at the discretion of House Management at a time when they will not interrupt the show.
- What age group is appropriate for the show?
The Blue Man Group show is designed to be a multi-generational entertainment experience. Individuals of all ages enjoy the show and people often bring their entire families to a performance. However, we recommend the show to children ages 5 and older due to the percussive music, movement of the performers/props in the auditorium and as a courtesy to other patrons. It is up to the Box Office or Front of House Manager to admit children under the age of 5 into the theatre. All children must have a ticket and sit in their own seat.
- Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code. We suggest comfortable attire and to avoid wearing anything that needs to be dry cleaned do to the possibility of substances from the stage reaching into the auditorium.
- What is the poncho section?
The poncho section is the first four rows of seats in the theatre closest to the stage. It is the most "interactive" seating section of the show. If you sit there, you will be provided with a poncho to wear, because the performers work with some materials that splash and can make a mess. Everything in the show is washable so we suggest that you do not wear anything that needs dry cleaning. Sitting in the poncho section does not guarantee that you will get splashed but we provide ponchos as a precaution.
- Is your theatre handicapped accessible?

We have 13 ADA seats distributed throughout our theatre as singles and pairs allowing for patrons to purchase additional seats next to each ADA location. In addition, the Theatre is equipped with assistive listening and descriptive narration programs for the hearing and visually impaired. Please call our box office for details.
- Are concessions available?
The Sharp AQUOS Theatre lobby provides a full concession counter with an array of snacks, cold beverages and cocktails. Patrons can bring their snacks and drinks to their seats and enjoy them during the performance.

We do offer ways to customize the Blue Man experience for our clients. Please ask a group sales agent for details.
- Can members of Blue Man Group speak to our group about the show or other topics
We do offer some pre or post show discussion options with key staff members of Blue Man Group. We can tailor the focus of our discussion to the interests of your group. Please contact the group sales department for arrangements.
- How can I purchase Blue Man Group merchandise?

- I am sensitive to strobe lights. Should I be concerned?
Strobe lights are used during two portions of the show. People sensitive to strobe lights should know this when deciding whether or not to attend the show. (Strobe lights may cause seizures to people with epilepsy.) If people sensitive to strobe lights do decide to attend the show, they should alert the House Manager when they arrive. The House Manager will work with them to help them leave the theatre before the strobes occur, if they request.
- How do I park at the theatre?
The theatre is located between CityWalk® and Universal Studios. All Universal Orlando® guests need to park at the resort parking structure which connects directly to CityWalk. Parking is free after 6pm on most evenings and $11 for the entire day. Motorcoach/RV parking is $12 and valet parking is available for $18.
