‭Our Las Vegas production is on a search to find someone to join our dynamic, creative, high-energy workplace as Head of Carpentry. This position requires extensive knowledge of theatrical carpentry, including outstanding troubleshooting ‭skills with a mind for research and development. This position is responsible for leading the safe and consistent operation of all scenic elements within the theater.

‭Part-time Assistant Stage Manager

‭Blue Man Group Las Vegas is seeking a Part-time Assistant Stage Manager. This position is charged with running the show, maintaining ‭company safety standards, covering rehearsals, the maintenance of general ‭production standards, procedures and practices, administrative responsibilities as needed, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Production Stage Manager.

Part-Time Electrician

Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of lighting equipment and be able to identify and repair problems related to the running of the show and maintenance of lighting and show-specific technologies.  (GrandMA console experience is a plus.) Applicants should have a fairly flexible schedule and be willing to communicate with the full time Electrics Supervisor about scheduling shows.

Deck 3 - Backstage Run Crew

Blue Man Group Chicago is seeking a part time Deck 3 crew person. This is a backstage run crew position whose responsibilities include an extensive and detail oriented props preset before the show as well as executing cues during the show. Technical theatre/props and run crew experience are preferred but not required. Lifting up to 50lbs is required for this position.

This position includes work with a video camera and past experience or knowledge is highly preferred. Technical theatre/props and run crew experience are preferred but not required. Lead Electrician

Blue Man Group, New York is seeking a full-time Lead Electrician.  The Lead Electrician position works an average of 35-40 hours per week, providing regular show and rehearsal coverage on the Electrician Track as well as support for daytime work calls as scheduled.  Under the direction of the Electrics Supervisor, the Lead Electrician is responsible for maintaining and/or repairing all technical elements of the show under the Electrics Department jurisdiction during the course of his/her scheduled shifts.

Part Time Video/Lighting Technician

Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando Resort seeks a part-time dual role Video and Lighting technician. This person should have at least 3 years experience as a Live Video and/or Lighting technician in a theatrical or rock and roll environment. 

 

The main responsibilities of this role are hand held camera operation, deck electrician, lighting operator and stage hand.

Blue Man Productions, best known for our theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for interns to come on board in June 2016. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-paced entertainment organization.

 

Interns will receive a small stipend for each week of the 12-15 week internship.  All internships require a commitment of up to 20 hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.

Blue Man Group at Astor Place Theater, New York, is posting for a Wardrobe Crew Position. Wardrobe Crew Members are responsible for a variety of duties within the department and community.

 

Show responsibilities include preset, executing show cues, and post show or turnover duties in a safe, professional and timely manner. A solid ability to communicate with other production departments and within the wardrobe department is extremely important.
