Part-Time Box Office Window Representative

Responsibilities of this position include:

Processing of all specialty ticket requests (House Seats, Past Dating, Gift Certificate redemptions, etc.) through the Ticket Master System (host platform), Answer incoming Customer Service inquiries & fulfillments via phone & email, Audits of Listings & Ticketing websites, work closely with the Group Sales Department, Maintain good communication with Treasurer and Box Office staff, Box Office window ticketing sales & customer service including: processing window and broker ticket transactions; maintain accurate box office cash accounts; settle batch reports; coordinate will-call pick-ups and transactions;

Part-Time Sound Engineer

This is a part time position.  The right candidate should have a flexible schedule and the ability to start training into the show as soon as possible.

 
Responsibilities include preset duties, sound check, running show cues, mixing the show, changeover duties, and post-show duties.  It may also include some regular maintenance as scheduled by the Sound Supervisor.

Part-Time Electrician

Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of lighting equipment and be able to identify and repair problems related to the running of the show and maintenance of lighting and show-specific technologies.  (GrandMA console experience is a plus.) Applicants should have a fairly flexible schedule and be willing to communicate with the full time Electrics Supervisor about scheduling shows.

Deck 3 - Backstage Run Crew

Blue Man Group Chicago is seeking a part time Deck 3 crew person. This is a backstage run crew position whose responsibilities include an extensive and detail oriented props preset before the show as well as executing cues during the show. Technical theatre/props and run crew experience are preferred but not required. Lifting up to 50lbs is required for this position.

Blue Man Group Chicago is seeking a part time Deck 2 crew person. This is a backstage run crew position whose responsibilities include an extensive and detail oriented props preset before the show as well as executing cues during the show. This position includes work with a video camera and past experience or knowledge is highly preferred. Technical theatre/props and run crew experience are preferred but not required. Lifting up to 50lbs is required for this position.

Lead Electrician

Blue Man Group, New York is seeking a full-time Lead Electrician.  The Lead Electrician position works an average of 35-40 hours per week, providing regular show and rehearsal coverage on the Electrician Track as well as support for daytime work calls as scheduled.  Under the direction of the Electrics Supervisor, the Lead Electrician is responsible for maintaining and/or repairing all technical elements of the show under the Electrics Department jurisdiction during the course of his/her scheduled shifts.

Part-Time Wardrobe Crew

Blue Man Group at Astor Place Theater, New York, is posting for a Wardrobe Crew Position. Wardrobe Crew Members are responsible for a variety of duties within the department and community.

 

Show responsibilities include preset, executing show cues, and post show or turnover duties in a safe, professional and timely manner. A solid ability to communicate with other production departments and within the wardrobe department is extremely important.

Fall Marketing Internship

Blue Man Productions, best known for our theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for interns to come on board in late August or early September 2016. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-paced entertainment organization.

 

Interns will receive a small stipend for each week of the 12-15 week internship.  All internships require a commitment of 20 hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
