Blue Man Productions, the parent company of the theatrical production Blue Man Group, is seeking a full-time business and legal affairs attorney to work in its New York office.

 

The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge and experience with respect to legal, business, and operational issues of a multi-state and international business, including matters related to the production and presentation of live entertainment.

Seasonal Part-Time Carpenter/Fly

This is a seasonal part-time position whose responsibilities include covering shows and maintenance hours for the carpentry and fly positions.  This position will begin immediately and will currently end around the end of April 2017.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  managing show staff, providing excellent customer service, ensuring a safe and efficient walk-in/walk-out for performances.

Part-Time Video Engineer

Blue Man Group seeks a part-time video operator. Show responsibilities include preshow check of all gear, running the video components of a performer warm-up, running cues in QLab, monitoring onstage camera work, troubleshooting video issues and assisting with changeover/ post show duties. Candidate must be self-motivated, innovative and enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment. Theatrical video experience preferred, but not required.

Part-Time Group Sales Assistant

Blue Man Group Las Vegas is currently looking for a Part Time/Temporary Group Sales Assistant.  The Group Sales Assistant will report to the Group Sales Manager and is responsible for operational and administrative support of the Group Sales department. Candidate must possess strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.  High levels of organization and attention to detail are expected.  Candidate’s main responsibility is to execute a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests and partners.  This position will interact with high-end clients as well as Blue Man Group cast and crew.

Part-Time Wardrobe

The Orlando production of Blue Man Group at Universal is looking for a Part Time, Temporary-- Wardrobe Assistant. This position will be primarily responsible for providing additional show coverage, as well as emergency show coverage and occasional maintenance calls. Dates of employment would be approximately October 2016 to March 2017. Due to show schedules, candidate must be available to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, and must be available during the peak seasons of Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break.

This position is responsible for Supervising the Electrics Department at the New York production of Blue Man Group, and ensuring that the technical and aesthetic standards of the show’s lighting and electrics- related special effects are at their highest caliber ​

Seasonal/Part Time Cleaning Crew

The Cleaning Crew sub’s primary responsibilities will be day cleaning coverage at the Astor Theatre that will include general maintenance responsibilities such as rubbish removal, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning fixtures and other ad hoc duties as necessary.

Part-Time Box Office Window Representative

Responsibilities of this position include:

Processing of all specialty ticket requests (House Seats, Past Dating, Gift Certificate redemptions, etc.) through the Ticket Master System (host platform), Answer incoming Customer Service inquiries & fulfillments via phone & email, Audits of Listings & Ticketing websites, work closely with the Group Sales Department, Maintain good communication with Treasurer and Box Office staff, Box Office window ticketing sales & customer service including: processing window and broker ticket transactions; maintain accurate box office cash accounts; settle batch reports; coordinate will-call pick-ups and transactions;

Fall Marketing Internship

Blue Man Productions, best known for our theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for interns to come on board in late August or early September 2016. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-paced entertainment organization.

 

Interns will receive a small stipend for each week of the 12-15 week internship.  All internships require a commitment of 20 hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
