Blue Man Productions, best known for our theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for interns to come on board in late August or early September 2016. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-paced entertainment organization.
Interns will receive a small stipend for each week of the 12-15 week internship. All internships require a commitment of 20 hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 7pm, Monday through Friday.

The Marketing intern will gain experience in marketing, branding, sales, digital advertising, social media, and public relations through their work at the global headquarters of Blue Man Group, supporting all productions and projects.
Some of the learning opportunities include:
Working with all levels of the marketing team on execution of marketing & promotional initiatives
Getting involved with creating and implementing strategies for garnering local and national publicity
Helping execute key 25th Anniversary programs and events, including a signature gala event in NYC on 11/17
Conducting research on potential partnerships and new ticketing channels for our production
Assisting the sales and marketing teams of the Blue Man Group resident productions, with special emphasis on supporting the Astor Place theatre team
Participating in strategic & tactical planning & execution of nationwide sales programs
Working with the Digital team to craft CRM email programs, use social media platforms, devise digital advertising programs, and maintain the website
Assisting the team with administrative tasks as needed, and archiving press, social media, and miscellaneous marketing materials
Candidates with an interest and/or experience in Arts and Entertainment Marketing will be given priority. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is required for this role (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel). An ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and collaborate with others easily.
