Full-Time Temporary Associate Producer

Blue Man Productions, the parent company of the theatrical production Blue Man Group, is looking for a full-time Associate Producer to join the Producing team on a temporary basis.  The Associate Producer is responsible for providing management and administrative support on a variety of projects, including developing production schedules, budgets, and task lists and working across departments to maximize the potential of each project.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships both within and outside the organization.  This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Producer and will require about 20% travel, domestic and/or international.

Responsibilities include:


Serving as proxy for the COO/Executive Producer on site, as needed
Tracking and maintaining all contracts for designers, performers, and other project staff
Managing budget preparation & maintenance, billing, and expense tracking
Creating and maintaining project schedules, contact sheets, and filing systems
Assisting with project communications across departments
Arranging travel and meetings for the Producing team
Compiling project files, ensuring that all materials are organized, accurate, and complete


Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience managing theatrical projects for a creative organization, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and above average attention to detail.  Must be enthusiastic, hard-working, and team-oriented, with the ability to multitask and adjust quickly to ever-changing priorities.
